Don't take too much notice of the shape of the weapon just yet, as it is still only a frame. I plan to make the front end like a mace, with the square bit a power generator and the rest of the handle...a handle! It will be a dual purpose weapon that can be used as a club or a gun. As you can see, I still have lots of work to do.

15mm Grymm? (so 10mm tall) Looking good so far!
...Not Grymn. Classic style Space Dwarfs. Big bellies and beards...and big guns!
Very fond of what you're doing with the Ogarix.
I am a little confused. Are all the figures the same scale? I like the look of the big figure a lot. What scale is it? Hoping for 15mm.
The big mini is a 28mm scale Grymn in powered armour (if you look further down the blog you will see various WIP shots).
BUT don't worry, there are likely to be powered armour and walkers for the 15mm Dwarfs as well.
Thanks for clearing that up.
I am really looking forward to seeing what you can do with those greens. This will be a great addition to the 15mm stuff out there.
Bellies and beards is a great combo, and clearly one which is popular with gamers. ;)
Given the popularity of StarGrunt for 15mm gamming, you might want to aim your collection at producting a compatible infantry section.
I am not going to aim them at any particular game. They will have representative equipment that will make them useful for all games.
I assume that there are people out there who will have the imagination to use 'counts as' in order to tie them into their preferred rule set...that's what I do. It may mean that some people will have to convert them slightly...but that's part of the hobby, isn't it?
But seeing as I don't game, and don't have any of the rulesets, the minis will be made with what I think they would need....comms, basic troops, a few support weapons, a few heavy weapons and a few leaders (for the basic troops) and then a bit of 'additional' kit...like powered armour...
I love that little battle suite, good WIP!
