The case of the mysterious parcel...

On Saturday, after returning from town, I discovered a mysterious note from one of her Majesty's servants on my door mat (a 'you've missed the delivery of your parcel and need to go and collect it on Monday' note). I immediately thought that my E-bay parcel had arrived, rather expeditiously, from one of her Majesties colonies (Australia) and was disappointed to have missed the delivery.

My dearest wife went and collected the parcel today...

...and a picture tells the story better than I could in words:

Yes, I have a Grymn walker... sent as gift from Sally and Kev at Hasslefree Miniatures

No words at this time can express how happy I am!

See you from a magic cloud, hovering somewhere over Oxfordshire!

The guys at Hasslefree are great!
That is a nice little walker, can't wait to see what you do with it.

I really like this sculpt, been watching its development.

It's time to re-instate the mechs back into your urban army and come up with a work around transport to alivate your fears of poor mobility.

I was eyeing up my step-brother's city refuse collection lorry model. They have large ribbed container like body with moving parts at the back and big multi person cab at front with large windscreen. Wouldn't take much to convert one into mech transport and command vehicle... just a thought.

Either way i'm green with envy...

All the best :)

Wow, that is great! Seems like you ought to do a full review of the figure, and some comparison shots...

These walkers look like they could be transported like the Droid army in Star Wars (hanging up on a frame in a balled up position)... but they may provide yet another lever for the dropship program to be brought forward :D... I never rule anything out completely because I can be very fickle.

A full review... it is perfectly gorgeous...will that do? (I'll sort something out).

That really is superb!

I cant wait to see what you do with it - any plans to fit it in with one of your current projects or will it have an all new colour scheme?

I am not sure at the moment... it will be urban but I may brighten things up a little (teeth maybe?).

It has been primed grey and I am in the process of painting the two pilots...they are likely to have the same trousers as my Urban Grymn but with brighter t-shirts...and the balaclava on the seated pilot may well end up 'interesting'...

I really enjoyed reading this article and found it quite informative. Thanks for sharing! I generally prefer WPS to send parcel to Germany and would recommend it to all.
